CRPQ Monitor - Police Data

You are responsible for the training, qualification, requalification, user support, and quality control related to the use of the Quebec Police Information Center (CRPQ), the Canadian Police Information Center (CIPC), and, if necessary, the Management Interface of the Police Information Module (IG-MIP) or any other relevant system and database within its area of activity.

You ensure the application of current standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the quality, compliance, and uniformity of practices.

You act as a super-user to provide specialized support, participate in resolving operational issues, and contribute to data integrity. Finally, you carry out quality control activities and collaborate on the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and information management practices.

And more specifically:

• Collaborate with Service managers and representatives of the Sûreté du Québec to gather the necessary information for updating procedures, quality control activities, and training materials related to CRPQ/MIP.
• Ensure initial training for new users and disseminate updates regarding practices, procedures, and systems.
• Plan and deliver ongoing training for required requalifications.
• Contribute to identifying training needs and make recommendations for the development of staff skills.

• Education acquired at the end of secondary school 5;
• Have two (2) years of relevant experience in the role, as described in the summary above, particularly in the use of police information systems;
• Hold valid and current CRPQ-CIPC operator and IG-MIP operator certifications at the time of posting;
• Teaching skills and the ability to present to various audiences are major assets;
• Ability to share your knowledge to help colleagues master specialized tools;
• Attention to detail in the service of quality and reliability of police data.
